Cuisine inspired by the markets of Mexico… Sedona restaurant Elote Cafe, serving the cuisine of Mexico culled from over 15 years of travels through Mexico by chef Jeff Smedstad. Elote Cafe features local products such as wines from Page Springs Winery, Black Mesa Goat cheese and Sedona/Verde Valley area produce. Traditional Mexican recipes get a creative and tasty update.. Start with the namesake elote, roasted corn on a stick; this Mexican street-food favorite is transformed into an addictive dip of grilled corn kernels, Cotija cheese, lime, and chiles. Where outstanding “High Desert Cuisine” is combined with more than fifty years of “Old West Tradition and Hospitality”. The Cowboy Club Grille was the first of our dining rooms. Formerly the Oak Creek Tavern, it was the gathering place for Sedona’s early settlers including the founding members of the Cowboy Artists of America who organized the prestigious CAA in front of the fireplace on June 23rd, 1965.
The Cowboy Club is a casual, family-oriented, dining area with full bar. The décor is Country and Western, showcasing the second largest set of Longhorn horns in the United States as well as original wood walls and a number of prominent Cowboy Artists’ works. The kitchen produces the finest in Angus and Buffalo Steaks, Game, Fresh Seafood as well as signature dishes such as Cactus Fries and Rattlesnake.
ABOUT THE SILVER SADDLE ROOM
The Silver Saddle Room opened in June of 1998. The setting is romantic yet rustic with luxurious suede booths and a prominent rock fireplace as the focal point of the room. It is a casually elegant environment with patio side service when weather permits. The Silver Saddle Room menu serves the same items as the Cowboy Club Grille with the addition of complimentary amuses and intermezzos. It is an adult dining experience with high standards of both service and food.
